Baltimore Camera Club Spring Trip
May 15 to 17, 2020
   Davis, West Virginia

The Baltimore Camera Club will again visit one of our favorite places - Davis, West Virginia.  Surrounded by the Monongahela National Forest the area is home to Blackwater Walls ( as well as many others) as well as the Dolly Sods Wilderness which is a rocky high plateau with sweeping vistas, rock formations and gnarled ancient trees.  This area is a photographers dream.

Davis is only a three and 1/2 to four hour drive from Baltimore and is a charming town with just enough funky restaurants and galleries.

Our home base will be the Bright Morning Inn where we have stayed before.  This comfortable inn is in the heart of Davis.  The Inn has agreed to block off all eight rooms until April 15, 2020.  After that date any unsold rooms will be released.  Seven of the rooms have either one bed or two at a rate of 109.00 per night plus tax.  There is one family suite consisting of two adjoining rooms that has a nightly rate of 129.00 per night plus tax.  These rates include a full and hearty breakfast at the Inn each morning.  Please call 304-259-5119 to make your reservations.  Please be sure to identify yourself as a BCC member.  You will not be able to make online bookings for this trip.  For more information and pictures you may go to Bright Morning Inn B&B and Restaurant, Davis/Canaan Valley WV  https://www.brightmorninginn.com/

In addition, we are holding a block of 15 rooms at the Blackwater Falls Lodge for our spring trip.  The Lodge is within the state park only a few miles outside of Davis WV,  The rate is 99.00 per night plus tax for rooms with either one bed or two.  Full payment is required at the time of booking.  However you may cancel up toe 48 hours prior to arrival and receive a full refund.  To make a reservation please call 304-259-5216 and identify yourself as a member of the Baltimore Camera Club.
